Unless the new Blackberry Storm 2 is by some miracle a killer device I think it is time to move on- and I suspect that RIM will become the new Motorola of cell phones.

The single best thing I have found to taking better pictures on a camera phone is perhaps the most obvious and dumbest of all: clean the camera lens!  We jam our phones into our pockets and coats and bags and the lens gets covered with dirt and dust.  Wipe it and your pictures will be 10x better right away.  It also helps to:

1. photograph things that are stationary more or less

2. Have a well lit subject (the bb flash is lame)

3. Hold the phone very steady

4. Take several photos to get the best one
